Asia Cup is just round the corner and Indian team will be looking to get over the disappointment of the England tour and retain their Asian crown which they won in 2016. Indian team led by Rohit Sharma will start of their campaign against minnows Hong Kong on 18th September. They will face their arch-rivals Pakistan on the very next day which may again be a demerit for India.

India will be without the services of Virat Kohli, who has been rested for the series. Rohit Sharma will take the charge in his absence and Shikhar Dhawan will act as his deputy. With the absence of Virat, Indian team management may make some changes in the Indian squad.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma: There will be no changes in the opening slot with the duo eyeing great series in the flat rocked wickets of UAE. They were not so successful in England ODI and T20 series, but that was a completely different story-alltogether and they will look to bounce back in UAE.
