Indian T20 squad for Ireland and England Tour and Indian ODI Squad for England Tour

BCCI announced the Indian Indian T20 squad for Ireland and England Tour and Indian ODI Squad for England Tour on Tuesday. The selectors have rewarded the young talents for their impressive performance at the ongoing IPL 2018. Siddharth Kaul, who has continued to impress in the recent times, has got the maiden India call-up in the squad for both the ODI and T20I. Kaul has 13 wickets in the 10 matches in the ongoing IPL.

Ajinkya Rahane, who was named the captain of Indian test squad for one-off test against Afghanistan, was dropped from the ODI squad. KL Rahul, who continues to impress in the ongoing IPL despite the pressure of huge price tag on him, makes his way back to the team.

Ambati Rayudu, who has been a great reason for CSK’ success this year has been brought back to the ODI team. Whereas, young Shreyas Iyer has retained his place in the ODI team. Umesh Yadav, who was out of the limited overs contention, was also recalled to both T20 and ODI squads.

In the T20 team, Suresh Raina and Manish Pandey have retained their places. However, Shardul Thakur and Jaydev Unadkat who played in South Africa, have not been named in the team.
