Becky Lynch announces pregnancy and relinquishes RAW women's title to Asuka

The RAW women’s champion relinquished her title to Asuka after she announced that she is pregnant and going to be a mother of Seth Rollins child. Lynch, who won the women’s title last April and kept the title for 399 days, started tonight’s episode of RAW and talked about her wrestling journey and how the people of USA accepted her.

“Tonight is no ordinary night for me. I’m torn between joy and sadness because I am at a place in my life where things are about to change and I needed to do something about it,” she said.

Lynch brought up the money in the bank suitcase of Asuka, who won the contract at MITB pay per view last night. Asuka then interrupted the proceedings and was furious on Lynch for bringing her contract suitcase. Lynch then said that the contract is for the title and she is giving it to Asuka.

You have been the best wrestler in the world for a long time and this is why I’m so glad that this is happening to you. The match last night, it wasn’t what you thought it was. The match last night was actually for the Raw women’s championship. I can’t fight anymore, but you can,” she added.

“You are the champion. You go and be a warrior because I am going to go and be a mother,” an emotional Becky said to Asuka before leaving the arena.

Its worth mentioning that Lynch and former Universal champion Seth Rollins are engaged and have been together from a long time. Lynch revealed in an interview that Rollins was the person with whom she wanted to have kids.

“When we got together, things started to look a lot clearer and I knew he was the person that I wanted to have kids with – that this was going to happen and it was just a matter of when,” The Irish Lass kicker said.

Seth Rollins will continue to wrestle on RAW brand as a heel character. He lost the WWE championship match to Drew McIntyre at money in the bank pay per view.
