Biggest rivals India and Pakistan are together playing for this Asian team

An uproaring Oman defeated Papua New Guinea in a convincing fashion to win their first match of World T20 qualifiers and take their foot forward to qualify in the Super 12. Oman are playing the qualifying matches in their home conditions of Muscat, which can come to their added advantage. They will be up against Bangladesh in their second match and if they can upstage an upset, they will qualify for the Super 12 and Mahmudullah led team will be ousted from the mega event. Its worth mentioning that Scotland upset Bangladesh in their first match to make it a must win affair for the Bangla tigers.

However, in the 15 member squad which is playing in the world cup, nine players are from Pakistan and mainly all are from Punjab. Five players are from India and only one player is from Oman, who also has his roots from Pakistan.
