COA member Diana Edulji answers if Indian cricketers will be available for full IPL season

The stage is set for the 2019 season of Indian Premier League but the extravaganza may be spoiled by the approaching cricket world cup that starts in May, 2019. The world cup will start from 30 May in England which is just 11 days after the IPL finals.

There were speculations that the star International cricketers won’t be available for the full season of the tournament. Indian players were also expected to skip the toughest T20 league in the world in able to be fully fit for the 2019 world cup.

Meanwhile, CricketCommittee of Administrators (CoA) member Diana Edulji has confirmed that all the Indian players will take part in the league.

“It was cleared by the IPL COO (Hemang Amin). And hopefully, things will fall into place,” Diana was quoted as saying by Sportstar.

India to start their world cup campaign against South Africa

Indian players will get a good gap of 15 days after the IPL final to be fully recovered for the world cup. The men in blue will start their campaign against South Africa on June 5, followed by Australia(June 9), New Zealand(13 June), Pakistan(16 June), Afghanistan(22 June), West Indies(27 June) and England(30 June), Bangladesh(2nd July) and Sri Lanka(6 July).
