The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for the post of Performance Analyst of the Women’s Cricket Team. The need for a performance analyst was explained by the team management. The last date to apply for the post is 20 September. The person applying for this post must be under 60 years of age.

“The Position of the analyst for BCCI consists of collecting data at a granular level as specified by the data collection practices and systems used by the BCCI Senior teams,” the BCCI stated.

“The analyst will also perform the role of a game preparation facilitator who will assist the coaching staff in analysis of technical and tactical aspects of the players.

“Scouting of opposition strength and weakness by using platforms designed for the same will be a key secondary role,” the statement added.

Those wishing to apply must have three years of experience working with a state level senior team or at more higher level. The performance analyst may join the team with a five-match T20 series against South Africa, starting 24 September.

The first analyst to work with the Indian women’s team was Aarti Nagle who held the post from 2014 to 2018.
