The cricket world cup will finally get underway from May 30 with hosts and firm favourites England locking horns with South Africa at the iconic Oval stadium in London. The tournament will be officially launched with an Opening Party on The Mall on Wednesday. The 45 day long tournament will witness 48 nerve wracking matches between the best teams in the world.

Indian team will begin their world cup campaign on June 5 against South Africa in Southampton.
