India is the most successful sub-continental country at the Olympics with a total of 28 medals- 8 gold, 7 silver and 12 bronze, but the fact still remains unnoticed to many people. The country has not been a great force to reckon in the sports at the world stage, but it is sure on an improving curve, with number of role models emerging in the country.
