The Pandya brothers finally got the opportunity to play for the country and live the dream together. The Baroda men on the professional front were unable to make an impact in the 1st T20 with the ball or with the bat. They will still be trusted by the skipper and will be eager to make their mark felt.
Bowlers (Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul and Kuldeep Yadav)
Bhuvneshwar Kumar leaked 47 runs in the 1st T20 and was criticized for failing to deliver in the starting overs. He will continue to lead the pace battery and contain the Kiwi batsman upfront. Punjab pacer Siddharth Kaul has been impressive in couple of IPL season, playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad and continued his form in domestic cricket and India A tours which has rightly given a shot in the T20 series. He is likely to be included in the 2nd T20 after Khaleel Ahmed proved way too costly in 1st T20.
Yuzvendra Chahal also proved costly in the 1st T20 and the team management is likely to go with the mystery of Kuldeep Yadav for the 2nd T20.
