Former France and Manchester United footballer Louis Saha praises Kylian Mbappe today.  Saha further said that the young striker has the potential to become the next Thierry Henry.

“Yes, I think so he is (Mbappe’s) tipped (to be next Henry). Mbappe has got naturally those qualities, looks like Thierry Henry because he is very fast. He can create his own chances,” Saha told a group of reporters in Mumbai.

Saha who is currently an expert with Sony Pictures Network for the ongoing FIFA World cup praised Mbappe for deft moves close to the opposite side’s goalpost and termed as “is unbelievable”.

Henry was a part of the French team that won the 1998 World Cup and Mbappe was not born back then.

Mbappe striked twice in the pre-quarter final against Argentina at the Kazan Arena. The 19-year-old also became the first teenager to score twice in a World Cup game since Pele in Brazil’s 1958 final victory over Sweden. The youngster also earned a penalty through his fierce solo run in the opposite circle.

Saha talked abouthis style and said “Mbappe is creating his own chances and at the same time going at the back of defenders.

Saha also believes that defenders world over are struggling, and that could be one of the reasons for the upsets in this World Cup.

“You see goals, you see lot of defenders struggling because it is very hard to defend now. That is why you see upsets,” the 39-year-old said.
