5 Things that prove, Dhoni’s Inning as a player is not over as yet

Don't need to use my back as my arms can do the job: Dhoni

MS Dhoni, India’s most successful captain has allready resigned from captaincy and for the one who has mostly lead the side, it could be difficult  to play under someone else’s captaincy. Most of them would find it difficult and will lead to end of their career, but MS Dhoni has some other plans in the pity, he still holds a strong position in Indian team and some points prove that the road is still not over for the boy from Ranchi.

1:

Still has the greed to play

He has started to play for Jharkhand in the domestic cricket, finding himself comfortable in leading the side, also nurturing and mentoring the young talents in the team, moreover it seems that he wanna use the domestic circuit for the active match practise that will not disturb his form and having an impressive season for Jharkhand in Vijay Hazare Trophy, proved that the hunger of scoring runs is not over as yet and he wanna contribute for every team he plays for.

2 :

Still the Fittest and the quickest

He is trying hard on his fitness , in a recent interview he stated that he is focussing on some hard training drills with his fitness trainer and have started to stick to a strict diet as he don’t wanna let his age become a barrier that drives him away from the game.He has posted some gym sessions pictures on Facebook which proves, the Stalwart is thoroughly focused on his fitness.

3:

He still enjoys being in the team

He is still the most comic character off the field ,as he tries to enjoy and joke around with his team mates , Hardik Pandya has spoken about his special leg pulling qualities . Overall a player should always be enjoyable and cheerful and this quality of MS proves his good relationship with every player of the team, which is an ideal quality for a sportsman.

4 :

His motive is just to play cricket , he is not concerned about leadership or creating controversies over it

Despite being removed as a captain of the Rising Pune Supergiant , he uttered no controversial statements  or any press conference with media for answering any questions , but earlier in India A Vs England’s 1st practise match at Brabourne Stadium , L. Shivaramkrishnan asked his feelings about his last match as a captain and he quoted it by saying that he will still lead RPS in IPL and Maybe Jharkhand sometimes , which is part of his desires but despite RPS axing him from the captaincy he didn’t have any go at them ,which is a clear indication that role & position doesn’t matter to him , he just loves the game of cricket and will continue playing it till he wants.

5 :

Lack of experience in Virat’s captaincy when the situation becomes tensed

MS Dhoni was seen setting the field and choosing the right bowler when Virat gave up the hope and situation became tougher in ODI & T20 series against England earlier this year , Virat is a good captain but some serious situations can disturb him a bit for which he will always need a senior partner like MS Dhoni to help him , in the process of building a young team , Virat and Team India demands a senior like MS Dhoni to guide them .He was India’s most successful captain for a reason and VK should make best use of his experience .

Overall the 37 year old is now focussed on his batting after he left the captaincy he will surely have an aggressive approach as a batter .One should expect some helicopter coming out of the box with some hard hitting.
