MS Dhoni sport a red turban look, here's why

Gone are those days when cricketers were camera shy and advertisement companies didn’t showed much interest in them. The modern cricketers can given any Bollywood actor a run for their money and this can be understood by the fact that some cricketers are paid more than the Bollywood celebrities to appear for an advertisement or become a brand ambassador.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been the utmost king when it comes to endorsing the brand which is a proven rocket science to fuel up brand’s sale and popularity. The former captain is currently endorsing netmeds.com and Jio. However, Dhoni sported a new look to endorse a new brand which has left social media in splits.

Dhoni sported a red turban and posted the picture on his official Facebook page. It is learnt that he is endorsing- redBus, which is a bus ticketing platform.

Here’s the post

The brand has not launched the advertisement campaign online or offline but expect it to be there very soon.

“We are happy to embark on this collaborative journey with MS Dhoni. Together we will continue to strengthen the redBus brand and enhance our presence across the country. Dhoni is the epitome of a King in his domain and a go-getter, a kindred spirit that connects well with redBus values. At redBus, we believe in empowering bus operators and passengers through our technology solutions and enhancing the bus travel experience. We believe in building strong relationships and we look forward to a fantastic partnership with Dhoni,” said Prakash Sangam, CEO redBus.
