Ravindra Jadeja was selected for India’s world cup squad on Monday as the third spinner in the team. This move draw some criticism as conditions in England favour fast bowlers and some cricket pundits demanded a specialist fourth pacer in place of Jadeja. However, away from his professional life, the Saurashtra cricketer is currently trapped in some personal issues where he had to choose either his dad and sister or his wife.
Jadeja’s father Anirudhsinh and sister Nainaba joined Congress at an election rally in Kalavad city of Jamnagar district on Sunday. However, this raised eyebrows over Jadeja’s loyalty towards Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) as his wife- Riveba Jadeja joined Amit Shah led party. She will contest from Jamnagar constituency in the ongoing general elections.
Before anyone could point towards the loyalty of Jadeja, the star all-rounder took to twitter to announce his support for his wife and BJP.
“I support BJP.@narendramodi #rivabajadeja jai hind,” Jadeja tweeted.

India’s Prime Minister sincerely thanked Jadeja for extending his support to BJP.
“Thank you @imjadeja! And, congratulations on being selected for the Indian cricket team for the 2019 World Cup. My best wishes,” PM Modi tweeted.
