The Indian captain was adjudged man of the match in the recently concluded ODI series against Proteas. Kohli created yet another world record by becoming the first batsman ever to score 500 runs in a bilateral ODI series. Kohli achieved the feat during the sixth ODI of the series against South Africa. But the biggest question for cricket pundits and fans is “How many centuries will Kohli score at the end of his career“?

During a question/answer session with his twitter fans, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag predicts the number of centuries Kohli will hit in ODI’s. A fan named Ashutosh Gupta asked “How many odi’s centuries will virat be able to make at the end of his career ??? #AskViru virat kohli”

Virender Sehwag predicted that Virat Kohli will score 62 centuries at the end of his career. This was regarding his ODI century records.

Not to forget, Sachin made 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries in 463 matches, while Kohli has scored 35 centuries and 46 half-centuries in 208 matches. Kohli’s average is better than Tendulkar (44.83) at 58.10.
