India played a classical test match cricket in the 3rd test at iconic Melbourne cricket ground that saw the Australian fielders get tired fielding for over one and a half day. Indian batters took the defensive approach throughout the innings and Australian bowlers had no clue to get through their defense. Even the most attacking players like Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant had strike rate under 60.

India declared their innings at 443/7 and asked Australia to bat for last six overs of the second day. The visitors are currently 6/0 and will hope to close out the test with a draw which will be the ideal results for them considering India’s vast 1st innings total.

Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher analyze the game

Saiyami Kher who made her bollywood debut in Mirzya opposite Harshvarshan Kapoor was quick enough to tweet out her thoughts after the end of second day’s play.

She praised Cheteshwar Pujara for playing a classical test match innings and anchoring the batting. Her disappointment could also be felt as she expected Virat Kohli to score a century after going past the 50 run mark.

“A rock solid century by #Pujara that’s anchored our innings & a great 82 of a different kind from #Kohli . When he goes past 50 one always assumes he’ll get a 100. The bounce is starting to get erratic.
Is 420-430 a good 1st innings score?#INDvAUS,” Saiyami tweeted.

Her cricket knowledge impressed former India captain Sourav Ganguly and he asked her to join the action on cricket field.

“Have a career in cricket .. straight drives good as well …,” Sourav replied

The Bollywood diva is a big fan of cricket and she has often takes to twitter to express her views on Indian cricket team. She was recently spotted playing cricket with Ajinkya Rahane and Akshay Kumar in Mumbai.
