Roman Reigns appeared on WWE TV after March as he beat the hell out of newly crowned Universal champion The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and former champ Braun Strowman in the Summerslam main event. His vicious attack on the two heavyweights was possibly a heel turn for the Big Dog as he closed the biggest party of summer in some style.
In a grueling falls count anywhere match, Strowman defended his Universal title against The Fiend at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The two put up a great fight against each other but it was The Fiend who hit two sister abigail on the exposed wooden boards of the ring to emerge victorious via pinfall.
The Fiend celebrated in some fashion before it was cut short by a returning Reigns who speared him and then focussed on to attacking Strowman, who was lying outside the ring. He would hit Strowman with the chair across the back and again turn his focus towards Bray Wyatt.
Reigns stood tall holding the Universal title high and marking his WWE return in style. Digitalsporty understands that Reigns is set to become the next challenger for Bray Wyatt’s Universal championship at the next pay per view.
After making a thunderous return at Summerslam, Roman Reigns took to twitter and wrote “You’ll never see it coming. #SummerSlam“
