Ekana International stadium is a newly built International cricket stadium in the state capital of Lucknow, in the Shaheed path area. The stadium holds a capacity of holding 50,000 people and is the second most biggest stadium in India after Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The first match contested at the stadium was a Ranji trophy group C clash between Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad in 2016. Since then the stadium has hosted three home games for Uttar Pradesh in Ranji trophy and the final of Duleep Trophy in 2017.
The stadium holds two cricket grounds, tennis, badminton and squash court. There is a proposed football stadium proposed in the stadium, which is currently under construction.
