Team India has not won any major tournament so far, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli which has put a big question mark on his captaincy.

Captain’s record in knockout stages

This former cricketer likely to become the head coach of Indian team yet againIn the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Team India had won 11 out of 16 knockout matches and had lost five. Mohammad Azharuddin has been prolific when it comes to knockout stages and won 14 games under his leadership.

After the defeat in the World Cup semi-final, there were reports that some players of the team are not happy with the captaincy of Virat and they want him to be sacked from leadership duties.
