Jasprit Bumrah is a big find for Indian cricket and enthusiasts of the game have allready started terming him as the greatest Indian fast bowlers of all time. Bumrah, a product of IPL burst into International scenes in 2016 T20 series against Australia where India won 3-0. Bumrah has not looked back since then and has went onto debut in other two formats of the game.

He is currently playing the 3rd test against Australia where he dismantled the Aussie batting line-up in first innings by picking up six wickets. The Gujarat pacer contributed with two wickets in the second innings and will hope to bag two more wickets to complete 10 wicket haul and bundle out Australia soon in the morning session of 5th day’s play.

Its worth mentioning that former India coach John Wright was the first one to realize the talent of the Bumrah. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Wright recalled a T20 match played in Ahmedabad in 2013, where the speedster managed to impress him.

“He was playing in a T20 match in Ahmedabad in 2013. I watched him the bowl last two or three overs of the innings. He bowled fast yorkers with an interesting action. One of his deliveries hit the footmark and flew right over the head of keeper Parthiv Patel. It went for four byes,” said Wright who has coached the national team from 2000-05.

The impression was ever lasting as Wright who was also the coach of Mumbai Indians back then, signed Bumrah to the team.
