Tokyo Paralympics 2020: India's complete schedule on 30 August, live streaming & TV channel guide

After a successful campaign at the Olympics where India came up with the most medals in history, focus now shifts to Paralympics game. India will send its largest-ever contingent with 54 para-athletes competing in nine sporting disciplines. 2016 Rio Paralympics was the most successful outing for India where the country for 2 gold, 1 silver and as many bronze and the South Asian sporting giant will look to bag more at Tokyo.

The Tokyo Paralympics will feature 539 events across 22 different disciplines to be hosted at 21 venues. Its worth mentioning that Paralympics is an international sports competition for differently-abled athletes and it is split into two- Summer Paralympics and Winter Paralympics like the Olympic games. The two events alternately occur every two years.

The athletes in Paralympics compete in six different groups which are- amputee, cerebral palsy, visual impairment, spinal cord injuries, intellectual disability, and les autres.

The games started from 24th August and will conclude on 5th September, 2021.

Indian shooting contingent looked way too formidable at Olympics but they failed to win a medal and only Saurabh Chaudhary could manage to be in the finals but finished at 7th spot. Paralympic shooters can make up for that after bagging a medal. Here is the schedule for the day-
