5- Fakhar Zaman- Pakistani Navy
The left handed batsman has redefined the standard of Pakistani batting after he became the first Pakistani to score a double hundred in a game against Zimbabwe last year. However, many few know that this Pakistani opener once served in Pakistani navy. In his early days, his father suggested him not to play cricket and he joined the Pakistani navy with the dream of becoming a cricketer still persisting in him.
He kept playing for Navy and some impressive performance in domestic cricket helped him make his dream of wearing the green kit a reality. Pakistan opener Sharjeel Khan was banned in a spot-fixing case during the second edition of the Pakistan Super League in 2017, just three months before the Champions Trophy and coach Mickey Arthur was mighty impressed with the aggressive batting of Zaman and called him to the Champions trophy squad of 2017.
His match winning hundred(114 off 108 balls) in 2017 champions trophy finals was the difference in the match as Pakistan pipped India by 180 runs to lift the trophy at Kennington Oval.
