The recently concluded ODI series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe have been totally dominate by the boys in green and marked the emergence of their new superstar Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq. However, the limelight was gathered by Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed, who tried his hands at bowling.

Zimbabwe needed 150 runs in last three overs chasing a mammoth target of 365 runs and it was the time when skipper Sarfraz Ahmed tried hands at bowling some overs. The memories of Mahendra Singh Dhoni bowling in the Champions trophy 2013 and other occasions would have been an unforgettable memory for his fans and this was Sarfraz’s opportunity to produce some memories to rejoice for his fans.

The Pakistan skipper conceded 15 runs in two overs and also got hit by Peter Moor for a meaty blow over mid wicket.

Earlier in the match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat. The decision was proved right by the openers Fakhar Zaman(85 runs of 83 balls) and Imam-ul-Haq(110 runs of 105 balls) who put up a 168 runs stand for first wicket. Player of the match Babar Azam then blasted the attack to the opposition and scored 106 runs from 76 balls to take the score to 364/4 after 50 overs.

Zimbabwe batsman got starts but failed to score runs at a healthy pace against the lethal Pakistani bowling line-up. Despite some efforts by Murray and Moor, the African team was way to short of the target, loosing by 131 runs.
