After the conclusion of the three match T20 series between India and West Indies on 11th November, the men in blue will then make their way to the tour down under in the humid conditions of Australia. Amid the much anticipated cricket series, there have been alot of discussion over the poor form of Aussies who are without the services of their regular skipper Steve Smith and David Warner who faced a one year ban following sandpaper gate controversy alongside Cameron Bancroft who faced a 9 month ban.

India will be backed with a complete batting line-up well guided by skipper Virat Kohli and others. Meanwhile former India opener Virender Sehwag has opined that Australia are good enough to pip India despite missing their premier specialists in David Warner and Steve Smith.

“Doesn’t matter if they (Australia) don’t have good players like Steve Smith and David Warner. They are playing in their own backyard,” Sehwag was quoted as saying by NDTV, in an exclusive chat.

“These players who are coming and playing in Test cricket have already played first-class cricket there. They’ve scored a number of runs. They don’t have much experience if you talk about international matches but they will give a good fight to the Indian team,” he said.

India’s tour of Australia starts 21st November with the T20 series.
