Team India will go all “orange” in the world cup game against England on June 30. India is currently sporting the blue kit but they will have to wear the orange kit in the game against England. The blue colour is expected to be splashing the collar of the orange kit.

Inspired by the rule of home and away jersey, ICC rules now deny any two teams for wearing similar colour jersey during a game. England being a home nation will have the right to retain their blue jersey in the game against India.

“For televised ICC events all participating teams will be required to provide for two different coloured kits, except for the host country who has a preference in the choice of colour and may, if it chooses to do so, provide only one coloured kit to be worn in all matches throughout the event. In advance of the event the teams will be notified which coloured kit will be worn in each match,”  ICC had said in a press release.

Most of the participating teams have unveiled their home and away jersey for the tournament. In the clash of Bangladesh and South Africa, the former team was considered the home team which means that Faf Du Plessis led side had to wear the away jersey which was yellow in colour. Its worth mentioning that both the teams sport green colour kit. Bangladesh also has a red kit which will be used in their away games.

Afghanistan is also expected to wear a red colour kit in the game against India. According to the rules by ICC, the game in Southampton will be the home game for India. Both the teams wear blue jersey.
