There was a huge hype created after Chris Jericho’s AEW title was stolen but luckily it was found. Many WWE wrestlers took a jibe at the promotions for being careless, but now the pendulum of time has made it even. PW Insider notes that WWE NXT Unite Kingdom champion Walter had his passport and title stolen.
Walter was in Illinois to face EVOLVE Champion Josh Briggs at EVOLVE 142 but his title was stolen from his rental car.
“WALTER’s WWE UK Championship belt, as well as WALTER’s passport, were stolen earlier today in Chicago, IL after a smash and grab of the rental car WALTER had the items inside,” PWInsider.com noted.
