When all the economic, social and sporting activities of the world came to a halt, it was WWE which continued to broadcast the wrestling action from their performance center. The Vince McMahon led promotion didn’t fail to entertain their fans when all the sporting action were forced to be closed.
Amid coronavirus outbreak in the United States, WWE kept things tight and prevented any of its member to come in grasp of the deadly virus that has allready infected close to 20 Lakh people in the States. However, the coronavirus clouds have now hovered over WWE after one of the NXT superstar tested positive for the virus. The talent was present during the crowd at the tapings on June 9.
WWE subsequently halted production and tested all on-screen talents, backstage personnel, staff and crew for the virus.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that the WWE developmental talent who tested positive for coronavirus was someone who wrestled on television. “A performer tested positive for COVID-19 as far as I know it was someone who has been wrestling. This was a week ago. Everyone else heard about it when you and I did on social media,” he said.
