Way back in 2007, a low lying Ireland team beat Pakistan to send them packing from the world cup in Caribbean and it was Eoin Morgan who was part of that Irish team back then. Four years later, Morgan was part of the English colours that played in the world cup in India and rest is history.

England was knocked out in the group stage of 2011 and 2015 world cup and it was Morgan who build the team from scratch. The 32-year-old from Dublin invested on young talents to do the job for England and it started working on a consistent basis.

Morgan is the leading run-scorer for England in ODI format and the country will be hoping that he turns the history and win the first ever world cup for England.
