The 2023 Asian Games are held in Hangzhou city in Zhejiang province of China. The Games started on 19th September but an official opening ceremony on 23rd September marked the start of the game. Originally scheduled to take place from 10 to 25 September 2022, on 6 May 2022 the Games were postponed to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic
All the games will be scheduled to take place in Hangzhou and its districts, while other events will be held in Deqing, Jinhua, Ningbo, Shaoxing and Wenzhou.
A total of 37 sports were finalized for the event with the core 28 Olympic sports event included. The games will also feature e-sports and will include 7 medal events. The games will feature athletes from 45 national Olympic committee.
