MS Dhoni will step onto play his last game at the Jharkhand state cricket association(JSCA) in Ranchi when India squares off against Australia in the 3rd ODI on Friday. The 37-years-old was given a warm welcome at the airport and he also drove his hummer accompanied by Rishabh Pant and Kedar Jadhav from the airport to the team hotel.
To make the moment more momentous, MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni hosted team India for a dinner party in their home on Wednesday evening.

Dhoni’s record in Ranchi
The Ranchi lad has played three game in his hometown where India managed to win on one occasion, lost one and one was washed away by rain. The local man didn’t have much to offer to his home crowd as he could bat for just two times which was a mere formality in the game. He has scored 10 not out (vs England on October 23 of 2013) and 11 (vs New Zealand on October 26 of 2016).
Dhoni turns down the request to inaugurate the stand named after him
MS Dhoni again showed his simplicity after he turned down the offer of inaugurating the stand named after him in the JSCA stadium. Dhoni said that he is a local boy and it would not look nice if he inaugurates something at his home town. The Jharkhand cricket association termed this gesture as ‘graciousness’.
