The first round of WWE draft took place in yesterday’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live where superstars like Roman Reigns, Natalya, Braun Strowman were picked by SmackDown on Fox networks and Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Kevin Owens were picked by RAW.
When the last time a WWE draft was held, Heath Slater was a free agent and he got a huge push that defined his career. Now, yesterday when a draft was held, Slater was again left as a free agent and it will be interesting to see if he will again get a push and return to TV.
Here is the list of wrestlers who will be free agent following first round of WWE draft
The B-Team (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel)
Change in rules
With SmackDown moving to fox network, WWE has changed the wild card rule and a wrestler will just appear on his own brand and can not move to other brand as a wild card rule. There will be a second pool of draft on Monday Night RAW where the wrestlers who will not be picked by any of the brands will become free agents and will be free to wrestle or appear on any brand.
Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will battle it out on next week’s RAW and the winner of the match will get the first pick to choose from. Remember, Lynch will represent RAW and Banks will represent SmackDown.
