The great Roger Binny ( Born 19th july , 1955) was the one who picked up 18 wickets in 1983 world cup & 17 wickets in 1985 world series cricket championship, ending up being the highest wicket taker in both the prestigious events, that ensured India winning both these tournaments. As this Legendary allrounder turns 62 today, we discuss some of the interesting facts about this man from Bangalore.

1:) Roger’s debut was against Pakistan in home test series in Bangalore, he also scored 46 runs in the likes of Imran Khan and Sarfraz Nawaz led Pakistani bowling line-up.

2:) Binny was termed as match saver at that time when the top order collapsed and he just used to stick around and save many test matches for India .
