The Padma Bhushan awardee will be a key asset in India’s world cup squad after which he is expected to hang his boots.

Dhoni has not been in the best of form in International arena from last two years. His heroics in the previous years IPL for Chennai Super Kings again made the fans believe that the former captain has still left in him but his poor strike rate in England and Asia Cup didn’t helped his cause.

The 37-years-old failed to make a mark in the West Indies ODI series after which he was rested for the T20 series against West Indies and Australia.

While his batting prowess continues to be a conundrum of uncertainity but on the other hand his magical glove work is still unmatchable. The ardent Dhoni fans will be hoping that he scores some runs in Australia and New Zealand in order to cement his place for the world cup.
