The world is all set for the mother of all clashes as India takes on Pakistan in the group stage clash of Asia Cup 2018. Pakistan are yet to lose an ODI match from 2016 in United Arab Emirates, having won 9 matches on a trot. It will be a job cut out for India, struggling to find a perfect middle order combination.

In yesterday’s game against Hong Kong, India made some changes in their playing XI which may not remain unchanged after unimpressive performance against the Anshuman Rath led team. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah are expected to come to the team which may ousted other pacers like Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmad. To make it simple for us, former India pacer RP Singh has predicted his playing XI for Indian team and also believes that the men in blue will be able to beat Pakistan.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma will continue to open the innings for India. The much hyped number 3 slot will be accompanied by Ambati Rayudu, who showed some form by notching a half century against Hong Kong on Tuesday. KL Rahul will bat at number 4. The Karnataka batsman has batted at number 4 slot, three times and has scored 26 runs.

Veteran MS Dhoni will bat at number 5 followed by Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya at number 6 & 7, taking the responsibility of the finisher.

In the bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah will look to exploit the conditions.
