Indian cricket team wish warriors in white on Doctor's day

1st July is celebrated as doctor’s day in India and the life saviours are crucial at a time when whole of the country is suffering from the Covid 19 pandemic that has halted the social, cultural and economical activities. Mothers may give birth to a child but doctors are the ones who give re-birth to a person and this may be no less than a deed done by God and this is why doctors are also known as the ‘Gods’.

Indian cricketers also acknowledged the role of doctors in the current medical emergency and took to twitter to express their greetings-

Skipper Virat Kohli said- Not just today but everyday we should celebrate the spirit of our doctors and health care workers. Thank you for your commitment towards helping so many people. I salute your spirit and dedication”.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who ended up as the highest wicket taker amongst the spinners in 2019 world cup, tweeted a picture to express his greetings.
