Virat Kohli begged the umpire in the 3rd over of Afghanistan's innings, know why

Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the centre of attraction not for his batting but the way he urge the umpire for retaining a DRS call in India’s clash against Afghanistan in Southampton on Saturday. Defending a low total of 225 runs, Shami got one to nip back into Hazratullah Zazai which hit his back pad and the Indian fielders were straight away shouting for the leg before wicket appeal in the third over of the second innings.

The umpire judged him not out after which the India captain took the DRS. It showed that the ball had pitched outside the leg which meant that India lost the referral and batsman survived. But then, Virat Kohli pleaded the umpire with folded hands, saying that some part of the ball pitched in line.

The umpire Richard Illingworth had all the right to deny his request as more than half portion of the ball was pitching outside the line.
