Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth is currently in the Bigg Boss house trying to wash away the stains he got after been involved in 2013 IPL spot fixing scandal. The Kerala cricketer was banned from all forms of cricket following the fixing allegations. Its worth mentioning that Sreesanth was part of the India T20 team that won the inaugural T20 world cup in South Africa where he claimed the catch of Misbah-ul-Haq to win the trophy for India. The 35-year-old later went onto be a member of Indian side that won the 2011 Cricket world cup in India.

He remembered an event post the world cup 2011 when all the members of the Indian team were interviewed. Sreesanth recollected the memories and thanked Sachin Tendulkar for naming him in the interview.

I want to share one incident related to Sachin Tendulkar. 1-2 years after our 2011 World Cup triumph, an interview was going on. The interviewer asked about everyone. He took the name of every player except mine” Sreesanth recited to fellow Bigg Boss contestant Anup Jalota.

When the interview was about to end, Sachin Tendulkar prompted my name saying Sreesanth also played a major role. I cried a lot during that time,” he added.

Sreesanth said if a cricketer is left to quit the game its very difficult to live without it.
