Best reactions as Virat Kohli ends 2021 without a century

Virat Kohli is just following his shadows of scoring daddy hundreds but with the disappointment in the 1st test at Centurion against South Africa, the Indian red ball skipper will end second consecutive year without  a century. Virat stands at 70 centuries and he was expected to surpass Ricky Ponting(71 hundreds) in no time and near the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 centuries which looks a herculean task from here on.

In the first innings at Centurion, Virat showed intent and was timing the ball sweetly until the very first mistake by him took away his wicket. He edged a ball on the 6th stump to slip fielder on the bowling of Lungisani Ngidi.

In the second innings, he again looked in great touch in the pre-lunch session on day 4 but lapse of concentration on the very first ball post lunch send him packing to the pavilion. He again edged a ball on the 6th stump to wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock on the bowling of Marco Jensen. The Delhi lad was troubled by James Anderson in the 2014 England tour and his dismissals in the ongoing South Africa tour is a sheer reflection of similar kind of dismissals.

Twitter went berserk as Virat failed to score a century in two years, here are best reactions-
