India tour of Australia 2020-21, full schedule, squads, time

India will kickstart their journey in International cricket after a long gap of 9 months. The cricket action was cut short by the rising coronavirus cases that took the world by storm. After the conclusion of IPL, Indian team traveled to Australia where they will ply their trade in a full fledged cricket series.

A total of 30 players across all three formats of the game travelled together and served a mandatory quarantine period of 14 days in Sydney.

Both the teams will square off in three match ODI series and as much matches in the 20 overs format. After the conclusion of white ball cricket, both the teams will take on each other in a four match test series with the eye on numero uno position in ICC World Test Championship. Its worth mentioning that Australia climbed to the number one spot in the latest ICC World Test Championship points table and India slipped to second place.

Virat Kohli will be unavailable after the conclusion of first test as he will be on a leave, due to the birth of his first child with wife Anushka Sharma. His deputy Ajinkya Rahane is expected to lead the side in rest of the three test matches.
