The third seed PV Sindhu will be up against an unknown Sim Yujin of South Korea in the quarter finals of Siminvest Indonesia Open Super 1000 event in Bali. Sindhu was put to test against Yvonne Li of Germany in the pre quarter finals but she prevailed 21-12, 21-18 without any discomfort.
Sindhu has reached the semi-finals of couple of tournaments ever she made a comeback after a successful bronze medal campaign at Tokyo Olympics. She made her comeback with Denmark Open where she reached the quarter final. The Hyderabad born shuttler will be looking to book her place in yet another semi-final if the Korean doesn’t play out of her skin to stage an upset.
