In a fierce bidding battle, Glenn Maxwell became one of the most costliest player in IPL auction 2021. The Australian all-rounder was acquired at a price tag of 14.25 crore rupees by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore went neck to neck in a bidding battle but at the last, low purse of CSK didn’t allow them to continue the bidding and RCB won the bid to acquire Maxwell.
