After an emphatic win in the 1st ODI, Virat Kohli spoke something that got the social media fans heartbroken and they will now keep thinking about it in the near future. The Indian captain said that he has got few years left in his International career to enjoy the game he grew up playing.
“I have few years left in my career to enjoy this sport. Playing for country is a matter of pride and a huge honour. You can’t afford to take any game lightly,” he said.
The statement draw some speculations on his retirement plans and it became a talked about topic amongst the fans.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma has put aside all the speculations and said that his student won’t be parting ways from the game in near future. He added that Virat will go on to play till the age of 40. Sharma said that fitness will never be the issue for Virat Kohli.

He will not retire before the age of 40 as his appetite to make runs will not satiate before that. He did not want to say that. He wanted to say that he has 5-7 years left to play the game. He is not going anywhere for the next 10 years. There is no injury concern to him,” Sharma said to BD crictime.
Virat Kohli once said that he will enjoy his life to the fullest after his retirement and will go back to “Ram Cholle Bhature” in Rajouri garden to enjoy his favourite delicacy. Its certain that the Rajouri garden based shop won’t be serving Virat Kohli in the near future.
