In a big honour for India, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone unveiled the world cup trophy before the start of the big finals between Argentina and France where the former team won on penalties 4-2 after the score read 3-3 at the end of full time. Deepika Padukone walked down the beautiful Lusail stadium alongside former Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas. Deepika is the ambassador of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton, which made the trophy case.
