Asian Games 2023: India's schedule on 20 September 2023

The Indian athletes were in action on 19th September when the Indian football team went up against a heavyweight Chinese team and volleyball team took on Cambodia. The official start of the 19th Asian Games will begin from a grand opening ceremony on 23rd September but some sports like cricket, football, sailing, rowing, volleyball and to name a few more have already started.

Indian contingent will again be in action on 20 September where rowing and sailing events will get underway. Pentathlon event will also get underway with fencing and Mayank Chaphekar will be in action. Indian volleyball team will have an uphill task when they will be up against South Korea.

Here is India’s schedule on 20th September 2023 in Asian games-

Rowing
  • Men’s double sculls- Parminder Singh and Satnam Singh from 6:30 AM
  • Men’s lightweight double sculls- Arjun Lal Jat, Arvind Singh from 6:30 AM
  • Women’s lightweight double sculls- Anshika Bharti and Kiran from 6:30 AM
  • Pair without Cox- Babu Ram and Lekh Ram from 6:30 AM
  • Men’s eight with coxwain from 6:30 AM
  • Women’s four without cox from 6:30 AM
  • Men’s singles sculls- Balraj Panwar from 12:30 PM
  • Men’s quadruples sculls from 12:30 PM
  • Women’s eight with coxwain from 12:30 PM
  • Men’s four without cox from 12:30 PM
Sailing
  • Men’s- Chitresh Tatha, Adhvait Menon, Vishnu Saravanan, Jerome Kumar, KC Ganapathy and Varun Thakkar from 9 AM
  • Women’s– Ishwariya Ganesh, Neha Thakur, Nethra Kumanan, Harshita Tomar and Shital Verma from 9 AM
  • Mixed– Preethi Kongra, Sudhanshu Shekhar, Siddeshwar Doiphode and Ramya Saranavan from 9 AM
Modern Pentathlon

Fencing: Mayank Chaphekar from 12 PM

Volleyball

Men’s- India vs Korea from 4:30 PM
